Gold-medal moment: Olympians Matt LaPorta and Steve Mesler posed for a picture before Saturday's game. LaPorta and Mesler went to the University of Florida.
"Gators are everywhere," LaPorta said.
Mesler and the rest of the U.S. gold-medal winning four-man bobsled team from the Vancouver Olympics threw out the first pitch Saturday. Mesler was wearing his gold medal in the picture with LaPorta.
"I wish I had my bronze medal," LaPorta said. "I would have worn it."
LaPorta, along with teammate Jason Donald, helped the U.S. win a bronze medal in baseball at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.
Stat of the day: The Indians entered Saturday's game with 63 homers hit and 63 allowed.
