• Gerald McCoy makes tackle on first play of half. That's the first time the No. 3 overall pick's name has been called.
• Tight end Evan Moore, who dropped a pass in the first quarter, turned a 7-yard reception into a 49-yard gain. Moore broke a feeble tackle attempt of Tim Crowder and Sean Jones and ran away.
• John St. Clair is called for holding on the next play. First offensive penalty of game for Browns.
• At the Tampa 15, Peyton Hillis coughs up the ball and Bucs linebacker Quincy Black recovers. That's two turnovers in the last three possessions for Browns offense. They are keeping the Bucs in the game.
• A refreshing rain starts to fall at the 10:00 mark of the quarter. Hmmm, that ball security thing that popped up in preseason becomes a factor.
• Jake Delhomme has another Delhomme "moment." On the way down, he shovels the ball behind him to Benjamin Watson to avoid a sack. It goes for a 1-yard loss. He's got to take a sack on occasion, no?
• Tampa Bay punter Chris Bryan does one of those Aussie specials -- an end over end punt -- and Josh Cribbs fumbles after getting hit. Blake Costanzo recovers, though.
• Delhomme hurt his right leg on the previous possession. Meanwhile, the Browns' two turnovers have made them conservative. They've forgotten the wideouts, again. And Tampa's defense is fired up.
