• Peyton Hillis was the feature back in the first quarter. Looks like they'll use Jerome Harrison more in the second.
• Josh Cribbs throws to Seneca Wallace for nine yards.
• Jake Delhomme had Mohamed Massaquoi open in the end zone behind Tampa's famed "Cover 2" defense again, but he missed the connection when Massaquoi turned inside to the corner and Delhomme threw inside for the post. Would have been a 40-yard TD.
• One series into the second quarter, Delhomme already has completed passes to seven different receivers. And Cribbs' pass to Wallace makes eight for the offensive overall.
• The Browns confused Freeman again on his next third down. They used their 2-4-5 alignment, but rushed only three and dropped eight into coverage. Freeman dumped the ball to Kellen Winslow for a three-yard gain. The fans booed.
• Third wildcat play: On third-and-2, Josh Cribbs scampers around right tackle behind Lawrence Vickers for six yards and a first down.
• Harrison has his moment on the next play. Simple handoff up the middle, Harrison breaks right and goes for 39 yards down to the Tampa Bay 10. The Bucs are the ones wearing down on this steamy day.
• Great blocking by center Alex Mack and left guard Eric Steinbach on a 10-yard TD run by Hillis. Mack and Steinbach both pulled. Mack took out a defender near the line and Steinbach blasted cornerback E.J. Biggers inside the 5. Biggers is having a tough afternoon.
• A Marcus Benard sack was wiped out when the Browns were penalized for 12 men on the field. Freeman finally makes a play on third down with the reprieve, hitting Micheal Spurlock for 16 yards while running from pressure.
• Tampa tight end Kellen Winslow finally makes a play. Goes 22 yards after a catch, eluding a whiffing Mike Adams. Freeman hasn't looked enough to Winslow, who's getting frustrated.
• Sure enough, on the very next play Winslow is called for holding. Wipes out a 19-yard run by Carnell Williams.
• Next play, T.J. Ward comes unblocked on a blitz and nails Freeman just as he's throwing the ball up. It's intercepted by Adams.
• Big mistake by Delhomme. On his way down with a sack, he tries to make a play to Benjamin Watson. Pass intercepted by Ronde Barber and returned 65 yards. Hillis pushed him out at the 2.
• Next play, Freeman fires to Mike Williams, covered by Sheldon Brown. Ball deflects high and Williams does great job of coming down with both feet in the end zone. Costly, costly error by Delhomme, obviously.
• Phil Dawson is able to try a 61-yard field goal at the end. It's no good.
