So Chris Bosh is joining Dwayne Wade in Miami? How bad does LeBron James want to be with them? The next 36 hours will tell.

Now we're scared.

It's not official yet, but word is that Chris Bosh, who only Tuesday was considered a likely future Cavalier, will join Dwayne Wade in Miami instead. This is mondo worrisome for two reasons. First, it's long been said that Bosh, Wade and LeBron would like to play together, which would give the Heat the edge when LeBron makes The Big Announcement Thursday night. And second, it means that even if LeBron is staying, two of the best potential partners in a souped-up version of the Cavs are off the market. Without them, who's left? Carlos Boozer?

Of these two worries, the first is definitely the worst. The idea of those three guys playing together has a certain, well, rightness, to it, as people already are starting to recognize. And then there's word that the three spoke by phone in the wee hours this morning, and that Bosh and Wade tried to persuade LeBron to join them.

Of course, there are some obstacles, mainly that the Heat couldn't pay all three of them what they'd earn individually elsewhere. But, hey, what's a few million among friends? Especially since Florida has no personal income tax.

Oh, man, our head hurts. And the 'Meter is moving:

Today's Meter Reading: Uh-oh

Like everyone else in Cleveland, we wonder what LeBron James will do when his contract is up this summer. Will he stay home, or follow the bright lights to Broadway? Until he decides to talk, we have to rely on hunches, instincts and educated guesswork. We'll report our findings, more or less daily, using the LeBron-O-Meter.
